ADI Code of Practice
We have signed up to the DVSA code of practice which is voluntary for approved driving instructors (ADIs) to follow. It sets out how ADIs should:
- behave in their personal conduct and business dealings
- advertise their services
- settle disputes with their pupils
Continuing Professional Development
Continuing professional development (CPD) is voluntary training (a minimum of 7 hrs per year) that our driving instructors commit to it can include:
- updating teaching or driving skills
- going to local or national meetings or seminars
- researching new vehicles for your business
- spending time developing your business skills
- going on formal courses
- spending time on the internet carrying out research
- networking with other driver trainers
